History

Our history closely follows important developments in document production for document-intensive industries.

• In the 1980's, we developed MASS-11, the character-based document processing system used by over 2,000 organizations worldwide, including many of the Fortune 500.
• As more and more of our clients converted their desktops to Microsoft Word, we became the leading provider of Word conversion software and services with the use of DocXchange.
• When document authors gained the ability to edit and collaborate on their work, Microsystems launched Knowledge Partnership to automate the quality assurance of documents.
• Our experience fixing tens of millions of documents led us to develop D3—Dynamic Document Drafting software, which applies our Microsoft Word and document expertise to content management and document assembly.
