Microsystems Fuels Momentum with New VP of Sales
Steve brings 19+ years of success in business development, sales, strategy, and general management roles within enterprise and consumer software markets. Previously, Steve led global sales and business development for Navigation and LBS at Intrinsyc and held the same position at Destinator Technologies, which was acquired by Intrinsyc in 2008. In addition to leading the global expansion efforts, he focused on growing the business through strategic partners including Motorola and LG. At Cyclone Commerce (Acquired by Axway in 2005), Steve was Vice President of Sales. Through a combination of direct sales and partnerships with several of the world’s leading enterprise software vendors including IBM and BEA, he led the growth of key vertical markets. Cyclone grew from $1m to over $25M during this time. Prior to that, Steve was VP of Sales at SPSS, Inc. where he was responsible for growing the company’s market share among Fortune 1000 accounts. Before SPSS, Steve was a co-founder and principal consultant of The Customer Retention Group, serving a client portfolio that included privately held and publicly traded companies such as Cognos, Computer Associates, SPSS, and Pansophic. “Steve’s experience as a successful sales leader will help position Microsystems for continued expansion and will build and strengthen relationships with strategic partners,” said Tom O’Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of Microsystems. |
