DocXtools™ DocID

With DocXtools DocID Module, you do not have to write or support custom code to get the functionality and flexibility you need to support your organization's specific needs.

DocID provides options for inserting or suppressing a unique DocID into the position of your choice within a document. The identifier is generated with a combination of properties from leading Document Management Systems (DMS) or the file system, including filename, author, date and any other document profile information. Additionally, you can configure custom DocID formats and settings and distribute them across the organization.

DocID allows Word users to:

• Add a DocID automatically to a document on save and print
• Configure the look and location of a DocID
• Replace a legacy DocID number

Remove out of date or insert new DocIDs with the DocID module. It's easy to use, requires minimal training and improves a user's overall Word experience.
