Copying Conditions in DocXamine

Applies to: Word 2003, DocXamine

When writing rules in DocXamine, you may want to 'borrow' conditions from other rules, inserting them into rules you've written. Here's a quick way to do that—and a hidden feature as well!

  1. In the DocXamine "Rules" bank, expand the rule which contains the condition you want to copy. Select it.
  2. Press Ctrl-C.
  3. Now, move in the "Rules" bank to the rule in which you want to insert the copied condition. Select it.
  4. Press Ctrl-V.

The condition is added.

Please note: You cannot paste duplicate conditions into a rule.
