Printing One Page from a Document with Multiple Sections
Applies to: Word 2003, Word 2007
Have you ever had difficulty printing one page from a document with multiple sections?
While working with a document that has multiple sections you can print a specific page or range of pages by using the "Page Range" section of the Print Dialogue box within Microsoft Word.
This often overlooked feature can save you time and eliminate paper waste.
Word uses the page numbers included in the footer(s) of the document to determine the page(s) to be printed and not the page numbers listed at the bottom of the window pane.
In the following example, Word will print all of section 25:

If you only wanted to print page 5 of section 25, you would specify that as "p5s25". Similarly, you can indicate a page range such as "p5s25-p10s25" or a group of pages each from a different section can be specified as, "p4s7, p32s8".
Many combinations are possible and more information is available within Word's own 'Help' menu.
