Detect Your Ribbon Issue

Should your add-in Ribbons generate errors, this option will broadcast error messages that help you identify the problem.
Turn on the "Show add-in user interface errors" located under Office button, Word Options > Advanced > scroll down to "General."
You will receive a message indicating what the Ribbon issue is and why you are experiencing the problem. This is helpful when trouble shooting issues you are experiencing when creating Ribbons.
