How to enable DocXtools when it’s not launching and not appearing in Word’s Disabled Items list

Troubleshooting the registry can be a daunting task, however, the instructions below should make it a easy for you to locate the DocXtools specific key.
- Make sure Word is closed.
- Go to Start>Run and type in “regedit” in the text box, then select OK.

You will notice towards the bottom of the Addins key, two keys called “zzD3Startup.Connect” and “zzD3Startup2007.Connect”
Note: The “zzD3Startup.Connect” key is for users that are using Word 2003 and the “zzD3Startup2007.Connect” key is for users that are using Word 2007.
