The Document Emergency Room (DocER)

The Document Emergency Room (DocER) is a safety net for bad documents.

Our team of document experts analyzes and fixes the bad document and then returns it along with a report of the steps taken to address the problems. This occurs within a turnaround time of two hours. Real-time support is provided on issues related to Word, WordPerfect and PDF documents, template/macro packages and Microsystems software.

  • Typical document “emergencies” include:
  • Migration difficulties to/from other versions of Word
  • Numbering failures concerning outlines, single lists and/or bullets
  • Formatting inconsistencies
  • Comparison issues with DeltaView, Workshare Professional and native Word
  • Printing problems
  • Table Formatting problems

The DocER is available from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Eastern (2:00 am to 2:00 pm GMT/BST) on normal business days. If you are a Knowledge Partnership customer, contact our Solutions Center to submit your bad document. If you are not yet a Microsystems customer and are in need of emergency document repair, please contact our Sales Team.
